We are currently looking for several experienced IT Project Managers for long-term consultancy assignments within a socially vital operation. The role involves leading and coordinating business-critical IT initiatives where new systems are implemented, existing solutions are further developed, and technical infrastructure is modernized.

The initiatives include, among other things, system implementations, procurement, lifecycle management of IT and OT systems, information security, business development, as well as the development of processes and working methods.

You will work closely with the business, IT functions, external suppliers, and other stakeholders in an environment where several parallel initiatives may be ongoing simultaneously.

Examples of Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and drive IT assignments, projects, and development initiatives
• Responsible for planning, execution, and follow-up of deliveries
• Manage lifecycle management of IT services and systems
• Drive procurement, upgrades, and change initiatives
• Coordinate internal resources and external suppliers
• Report status, risks, deviations, and decision support to steering groups and management
• Create project plans, budget proposals, business plans, and governance documents
• Handle incidents, escalations, and supplier dialogues
• Act as the link between business and IT in the planning and development of services and systems

Mandatory Requirements (Must-haves)

To be considered for the assignment, you must meet all the following requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience within the last 10 years in leading IT projects or IT assignments.
• Experience in responsibility for:
  • Follow-up of time, cost, and results
  • Reporting to steering groups or equivalent decision-making forums
  • Leadership of project team members or other resources
• At least 1 year of experience within the last 10 years in an IT-adjacent leadership role, such as:
  • IT Project Manager
  • IT Assignment Manager
  • Administration Manager
  • Other equivalent leading IT role
• Experience from business-critical technical infrastructure or OT environments, such as:
  • OT systems
  • Satellite communication
  • Control systems
  • Data centers
  • Similar technical environments
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable Experience (Nice-to-haves)

It is highly meritorious if you also have:

• At least 2 years of experience in project managing procurement within public sector operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in leading external suppliers at:
  • System implementations
  • Administration
  • Lifecycle management of IT systems
• At least 2 years of experience working in IT-adjacent leadership roles related to:
  • Agile teams
  • System development
  • Scrum
  • Product ownership
  • Requirements management
