The National Cyber Security Centre, NCSC, is now looking for an IT Service Manager to participate in building up the centre's operations at FRA. Your Mission

As an IT Service Manager, you work at NCSC and the Office for Operational and Technical Cyber Security. The office is responsible for operational cyber security support to society by preventing, detecting, and supporting the coordination and management of IT incidents. The office's mandate includes producing consolidated situational pictures of antagonistic cyber threats and IT incidents, providing technical advice and support to private and public actors, and maintaining a national situational awareness.

You will become one of the players in our development journey towards a program office at the Office for Operational and Technical Cyber Security. The role involves leading, developing, and ensuring the quality of services and customer experiences.

In the role of IT Service Manager, your main tasks primarily consist of:

  • Planning, prioritizing, and following up on service management activities
  • Maintaining ongoing contact with external/internal suppliers and actively working with requirement setting, ordering, and follow-up of deliveries.
  • Ensuring stable operations, support, and continuous improvement of services
  • Identifying development opportunities from needs to requirements
  • Driving innovation and smarter ways of working
  • Translating business needs into IT solutions
  • Acting as a bridge between people, business, and technology

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant university education in, for example, computer science or another relevant field, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience
  • At least three years of experience in service management/object management
  • Knowledge of pm3, SAFe, ITIL, or similar working methods
  • Understanding of regulations such as GDPR, OSL, and LOU (Public Procurement Act)
  • Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it meritorious if you have:

  • Experience from public sector operations
  • Experience from security-sensitive operations
  • Experience with requirement setting and testing within system development
  • Experience in change management, project management, and systematic information and IT security work, including risk and vulnerability analyses
  • Experience in public procurement and contract management, preferably according to LOU

More Information

The workplace is currently located in Tomteboda, Solna. New premises are to be ready in Bergshamra within a few years. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a passed security clearance with register check. The security clearance will be conducted in accordance with provisions in the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed. We apply a six-month probation period.
