Why this job is for you You thrive in a creative and innovative environment where you get to work on what you find fun, such as solving technical problems. Furthermore, you find it interesting to handle and coordinate subsystems and their team members within a complex system spanning multiple technical disciplines.
The world is changing, and our customers need help developing both products and systems. The complexity of products and industrial systems is increasing alongside technological advancements. At Knightec Group, we have been privileged to accompany our national and global customers throughout this journey. Therefore, we need you who enjoy working broadly with Systems Engineering.
You will work within our business area Hardware & Design, where we combine broad engineering competence with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centered approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences all the way from concept to mass production.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the overall system perspective in technical projects – from requirements gathering to the final solution.
- Coordinate and integrate subsystems within mechanics, electronics, automation, and software into a functioning whole.
- Lead requirements work: identify, specify, trace, and verify system requirements in collaboration with customers and internal teams.
- Create and maintain system documentation, e.g., system descriptions, interface documents, and verification plans.
- Act as the technical point of contact between customers, suppliers, and internal development teams.
- Support project managers in technical decisions and risk assessments.
- Ensure that the system solution meets relevant standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
Qualifications We are looking for you who enjoy tackling tricky technical challenges, are structured, analytical, and have strong communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various technical disciplines. You are someone who enjoys sharing your knowledge while also being able to drive your own work forward independently. In addition to your personal qualities, you must have the following:
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Technical Physics, Industrial Economics, or a corresponding technical field.
- Further education or certification in Systems Engineering (e.g., INCOSE, MBSE, Requirements Management, or Project Management).
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Systems Engineer, Technical Project Manager, or another integrative technical role.
- Documented experience in requirements management, system architecture, and system integration within development projects.
- Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English.
As some of our assignments are subject to defense secrecy, a successful security clearance may be required for the role.
