Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centres or within habilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we tailor our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are now looking for two registered nurses who want stimulating and meaningful work where you can develop together with competent colleagues. We offer a permanent position with an start date of September 1, 2026, or as agreed. The position is 100%, but other percentages can be discussed based on preferences and operational needs. Probation may apply.

Your Role

We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied work environment. Duties include nurse-led consultations with assessment, treatment, and follow-up of your patients. This also involves assessing and assisting patients in telephone advice, chat, and 1177 services. The role involves teamwork as well as standard nursing duties at the health centre. We have a broad patient base, which means you will encounter everyone from young families and students to elderly citizens. This makes the work with us both varied and stimulating.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, and experience in primary care is an advantage. You have good collaboration skills and thrive working in a team, but also possess the ability to work independently. It is important that you have a desire to develop the operations together with the colleagues at the unit. We value a good working environment and consider it natural for everyone to contribute to a pleasant workplace. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Our Operations

Kungsgärdet Health Centre belongs to the Primary Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala. The health centre is centrally located in Uppsala with good bus connections and parking facilities next to the centre. We have approximately 11,000 registered patients and offer, among other things, elderly care, diabetes care, and minor emergency care. At the health centre, everyone works to provide our patients with the best possible care.
