About the role

Join us in building Region Västernorrland's new Staffing Centre! We are looking for experienced nurses who want to help create a stable resource for the entire region.

Region Västernorrland is currently establishing a brand new Staffing Centre within the Unit for Production Support (EPS), a long-term, region-wide resource designed to provide our care wards with secure and high-quality staffing during short-term absences and planned needs. As part of the resource team at the staffing centre, you will consist of permanent nurses and assistant nurses. Together, we staff care wards at the hospitals in Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, always with a focus on quality, competence, and continuity. You will become part of an initiative aimed at reducing vulnerability, strengthening healthcare, and contributing to a sustainable staffing model across the region. In the initial phase, the focus is on care wards, but this will eventually be expanded to include other operations.

As a nurse in the staffing centre, you will work in various departments, meet many colleagues, and contribute where you can be most useful each day. The role involves, among other things:

• You are employed by EPS but work operationally on the care wards that have a need.
• You will have a workday with variety and the opportunity to develop broad competence.

We are looking for 15 nurses. The positions are permanent full-time roles with start date as agreed. Location: Sundsvall.

Responsibilities

Perform standard nursing duties according to the needs of the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have at least two years of work experience from emergency care and/or inpatient wards

It is meritorious if you

• Have experience working in shift assignments or as a locum nurse
• Have experience working within several different healthcare operations
• Have a B driver's license
