At Norlandia Elderly Care, we are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or care assistant and want to work full-time/part-time during the whole or part of the summer of 2026 at Sannagården and/or Vidhöge elderly care home in Tvååker and Veddige in Varberg respectively. What does the job as a nursing assistant or care assistant at Norlandia involve?

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a secure and meaningful life in their golden years. We always start from the resident's wishes and own abilities and focus on health. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for performing dignified and good care and nursing based on the elderly person's individual needs. Common tasks may include helping residents with hygiene, cleaning, medication, activities, etc. Cooking is also part of the role, so if you find that fun, it's a plus. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to pleasant activities with the residents. A very exciting job, simply put!

About Sannagården and Vidhöge elderly care homes

In the app, you can see worked time, earned salary, preliminary salary payment, information about available shifts, and how much you can earn on an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the possibility to withdraw part of the earned salary for extra/hourly shifts directly after completing a shift.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to do the little extra for the elderly so they get a golden touch in their daily lives. We appreciate that you are flexible, enjoy working with people, and have a strong sense of service. Furthermore, you should find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.

• We are primarily looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant or care assistant.
• It is meritorious if you have previous experience within elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We appreciate that you have good computer skills and system knowledge.

Employment type: Summer substitute position

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record register. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
