At Drottning Blanka Gymnasieskola Odenplan, you become part of a warm and driven community where approximately 700 students and 60 employees together create a dynamic and developmental school environment. Here there is room to grow, both as a student and as a colleague.

About the School Nurse Role

As a school nurse, you are part of the school's consolidated student health services and contribute medical competence to student health work. You will work at the organizational, group, and individual levels depending on the needs of the operation. At our school, the student and the student's goal achievement are in focus, and you need to be an active part in enabling school success. Succeeding in school is linked to how one feels and how different parts function together, as well as attendance at school. As a school nurse, you will have primary responsibility for health conversations and for ensuring that student absences are investigated from a health perspective and that measures are put in place in consultation with the rest of the student health team and the work group.

Here, you are expected to be visible, present, and involved in the students' daily lives and move around the school. You need to build good relationships and a sense of security so that you can reach both groups and individuals. In this work, you need to collaborate with other competencies in the school and contribute your own knowledge, and if necessary, reflect and mentor others in their work and role. It is also important here to be preventive and actively get to know the students in different contexts.
