About the role

We are looking for an engaged and competent project designer with a focus on power grids and lighting networks. The role also involves working with and alongside our other utilities, including district heating and optical networks.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the design and preparation of new constructions, reconstructions, and connections within power grids and lighting networks.
• Compile cost estimates and quotations for individual connections and requests for line changes.
• Design and prepare projects, which entails:
  • Performing necessary calculations and constructions.
  • Creating cost estimates and material lists.
  • Ensuring that necessary excavation and building permits, as well as land agreements, are drawn up.
  • Preparing design documents and work instructions for contractors, internal or external parties. Act as BAS-P where applicable.
  • Documenting and ensuring that documentation is carried out.
• Participate in the development of working methods and routines within the field.
• Follow technical developments within the area of work.

We are looking for someone who:

Is communicative and enjoys meeting customers and stakeholders. You are a proficient IT user of various systems, where knowledge of the NIS system is important. Experience with DP Spatial is a merit. You enjoy driving issues independently while being an excellent team player.

Your qualifications:

• University education in electrical power or equivalent.
• Professional experience (minimum 4 years) in the described areas.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Preference given to candidates certified as Preparers in electricity.
• Preference given to candidates with knowledge in Contract Law.

It is meritorious and even a prerequisite that you have a few years of experience in design/preparation and education/certification in BAS-U, BAS-P, AMA & EBR, and ESA. We also appreciate experience with land issues and land agreements.
