About the assignment

Novare is a proud and approved supplier under the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now looking for an interim manager to act as acting unit manager for one of the agency's departments in Stockholm.

The role involves overall responsibility for personnel, operations, and budget. You will be a key figure in the agency's work, with a focus on development and change management.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their leadership. You are communicative, clear, and able to maintain direction. You motivate your employees and remain calm and constructive even in complex situations.

Requirements for the position

• Relevant academic degree
• Several years of experience as a manager with responsibility for personnel, operations, and budget
• Extensive experience from the Swedish civil service, preferably in areas such as grant funding, culture, and nature
• Practical experience in change management
• Experience leading experts and the ability to handle different perspectives and opinions

Desirable qualifications

• Practical experience with legislation regarding cultural heritage management and other laws regulating urban planning

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is full-time, starting in August/September, and lasting approximately 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension. The location is at the agency in Stockholm.
