Scrum Master – Consulting Assignment in a Large Agile Organization

We are now looking for a Scrum Master for a long-term consulting assignment with one of our clients in Stockholm.

Your Role

As a Scrum Master, you will play a central role in supporting and developing several agile teams. You will be responsible for creating the conditions for effective working methods, high delivery capacity, and continuous improvement. The role involves close collaboration with team members, product owners, and other Scrum Masters in an organization where collaboration and learning are in focus.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, receptive, and inspiring, and who is driven by coaching teams and individuals towards common goals.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Plan, facilitate, and develop the team's agile ceremonies
• Support teams and product owners in backlog management and prioritization
• Work operationally in agile tools for tracking and structuring the work
• Identify and remove impediments that affect the team's delivery capacity
• Create structure and working methods that strengthen the team's efficiency and self-organization
• Drive improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous learning
• Implement and follow up on methods to measure the team's development, capacity, and delivery capacity
• Ensure clear communication regarding goals, deliveries, and priorities together with product owners
• Support collaboration between teams and manage dependencies in larger delivery environments
• Contribute to a positive and engaging work climate

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Team Coach in agile organizations
• At least 2 years of experience facilitating agile ceremonies and coaching teams and product owners in agile ways of working
• At least 2 years of experience working in larger organizations with multiple teams and complex dependencies
• At least 1 year of experience independently driving improvement work within agile teams
• At least 2 years of practical experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar agile tools
• Experience with backlog management, planning, and tracking
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with many different stakeholders
• Ability to create engagement, structure, and progress in teams

Desirable Experience

It is particularly desirable if you have:

• Experience coordinating and managing dependencies between multiple teams
• Experience facilitating larger workshops, such as PI Planning, Open Space, or similar forums
• Experience from the public sector
• Experience in change management and organizational development
• Certifications in Scrum, SAFe, or other agile frameworks

Location

Stockholm.

The assignment offers a flexible hybrid model with the possibility to work both on-site and remotely. The distribution is based on the business's needs and is currently approximately 50% office and 50% remote work.

Timeline and Scope

Start: 2026-08-17 End: 2028-08-16

Extension Possibility: The assignment can be extended by an additional 1 + 1 year.

Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

This is a consulting assignment with a large organization that is on an exciting development journey where agile ways of working play a key role in the business's success. You will work closely with several teams and contribute to developing working methods, collaboration, and delivery capacity in an environment where continuous improvement and knowledge sharing are central parts of the culture.
