ELFA Assistans i Sverige AB provides personal assistance services to individuals with disabilities who wish to lead an active and developing life. All operations are conducted with a focus on the LSS (Law on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) principles regarding the individual's right to participation, self-determination, integrity, and influence. ELFA Assistans is now seeking dedicated and responsible personal assistants for one of our clients – an 8-year-old girl who requires significant support and assistance. The role involves helping with personal hygiene, training, meals, and dressing/undressing.

We are looking for someone who

• Is sensitive, including to non-verbal communication, and has the ability to create a sense of security and well-being.
• Understands the importance of interaction and can engage the girl through singing, play, and fun.
• Is responsible and has a genuine commitment to helping others.
• Has experience from healthcare and care services, as the role includes certain medical interventions.
• Is in good physical shape, as the work can sometimes be physically demanding and includes floor-based work, for example during training activities.

Working hours are primarily scheduled between 14:00 – 20:00 on weekdays and 09:00 – 17:00 on weekends. Flexibility regarding working hours in case of colleague sickness or leave is desirable.

We are currently seeking hourly substitutes, with the possibility of a permanent position and fixed schedule if the collaboration works well.

References will be requested. Since the client is a minor, you must provide a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) if you are considered for the position.
