Do you want to work in a technically advanced environment where security, stability, and innovation are in focus? We are now looking for a LINUX Technician who wants to develop and manage critical IT services in an operation with high demands and significant societal value.

About the role

As a LINUX Technician, you will become an important part of a team responsible for operations, support, and further development of technical platforms. You will work in an environment where availability and security are crucial, and where you will have the opportunity to influence and improve working methods, systems, and processes.

You play a central role in the delivery of IT services and work both operationally and development-oriented – from troubleshooting and installation to automation and improvement work.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure stable operations and high availability of systems and services
  • Work with troubleshooting, support, and installations
  • Manage patching and upgrades of server environments
  • Participate in projects related to the technology platform
  • Drive work regarding standardization, efficiency, and automation
  • Ensure that solutions meet current security requirements
  • Actively contribute to the improvement and development of technical environments

About you

We are looking for you who have a strong technical interest and thrive in a role where you can combine operations, development, and security. You are meticulous, solution-oriented, and enjoy working with others.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience with Linux, focusing on server operations
  • Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python
  • Experience working in large-scale operational environments
  • A strong security mindset, especially within automated configuration management
  • Ability to work in a structured and service-oriented manner
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits:

  • Experience with Red Hat, SUSE Manager, or similar
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes
  • Experience with system hardening
