We are looking for a personal assistant for a man in his 60s who needs support in his daily life after a stroke. The position consists of shorter assistance shifts during the day, so it is advantageous if you live in the local area or have good opportunities to commute to the client.
Responsibilities:
- Help with daily routines such as household chores.
- Assist with personal hygiene and meals.
- Social interaction.
- Motivate the client.
The position involves shifts scheduled as follows:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 07:30–08:30
- Monday: 17:00–19:00
- Thursday: 17:00–19:00
- 1 Saturday per month: 12:00–18:00
- 1 Sunday per month: 12:00–19:00
The client appreciates, among other things:
- Walks.
- Kayaking during the summer months in the archipelago.
- An active and meaningful daily life.
We are looking for you who:
- Are empathetic and receptive.
- Have a genuine interest in working with people.
- Are proactive and solution-oriented.
- Are reliable and responsible.
- Have an easy time putting yourself in other people's shoes.
Requirements:
- Availability to work during the summer of 2026.
- Flexibility to work shorter shifts.
Scope: 1 part-time position.
Start date: Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.
Things to consider before applying:

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), may not be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
