The team in Hagfors/Ekshärad consists of cheerful and positive employees of varying ages. The clinics are modernly equipped with nitrous oxide equipment, panoramic X-rays, and equipment for digital impressions. We operate in two different locations and offer the possibility of using our clinic car for business trips. Free parking is available outside both clinics. To extend the weekend a little extra, we work half-days on Fridays.

Hagfors is located in northwestern Värmland and is characterized by its nature. The municipality's large natural areas provide opportunities for an active leisure time with sports and outdoor activities year-round, whether you enjoy hunting, fishing, skiing, or motorsports. There are also shops, culture, associations, and municipal services here. With only an hour to Karlstad by car and approx. 45 minutes by flight to Stockholm Arlanda from Hagfors airport, there is the possibility of both the tranquility of Hagfors and proximity to city life.

Your responsibilities

As a dental hygienist/assistant with us, you will work with a varied patient group including adults, teenagers, children, and the elderly – all with varying care needs. The tasks vary from day to day and consist of assistance, sterilization, and reception work, all to provide as varied and stimulating work as possible.

At the clinic, we work both traditionally and in a distributed manner, and there are great opportunities to work with your own patients within areas such as prophylaxis and scanning of bite splints as well as removable orthodontics.

As a dental hygienist/assistant with us, you will have the opportunity for:

• Career development as a specialist dental assistant, prophylaxis dental assistant, fluoride assistant, team leader, or clinic manager.
• Weekend shifts with extra weekend allowance.
• Salary supplement for temporary work at another clinic based on the number of travel days.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, but we are open to discussing other forms of employment. Probationary period may apply, and start date is by agreement.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who have a dental hygienist/assistant degree.

As a person, you adapt easily to different tasks or changed circumstances. You are self-reliant and take active responsibility for your tasks, while also enjoying collaborating and contributing to a positive work climate.

With a strong service focus and professional demeanor, you create safety and quality in the meeting with both patients and colleagues.

Public Dental Care Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. Additionally, there are clinics within all specialist areas that treat patients on referral. We are a forward-looking organization with quality and competence in focus.
