We are now looking for a designer/engineer for a one-year parental leave replacement at our client. The role focuses primarily on drawing work and customized solutions in a project format. You will become part of our client's design team and work closely with both technical and other functions within the business. Does this sound like something for you? Send in your application!

In this position, you will primarily work on creating and updating technical documentation in CAD, with a focus on 3D modeling and drawing production. You will work from existing concepts and guidelines and adapt solutions to the client's specific needs and applications.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Modeling and updating 3D designs and drawings in CAD (primarily SolidWorks)
• Developing customized solutions based on technical requirements and applications
• Creating and revising technical documentation and bills of materials
• Working closely with senior designers, sales teams, and production to ensure feasible and cost-effective solutions
• Participating in projects from the quotation stage to final production documentation

We are looking for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop further within mechanical design. You have a solid technical foundation, are comfortable in a CAD environment, and are driven by turning customer requirements into clear and well-thought-out design solutions.

We believe you:

• Have a post-secondary education in mechanics/mechanical engineering
• Have approximately 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design
• Have good knowledge of 3D-CAD, preferably SolidWorks
• Understand how products are manufactured and used in practice
• Work in a structured and meticulous manner, delivering complete and clear documentation
• Have knowledge of common manufacturing techniques such as welding, bending, and machining
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a technical environment where quality, precision, and collaboration are crucial. You are confident in your skills, take responsibility for your work, and communicate easily with both production and technical teams. You enjoy contributing to improvements and sharing your knowledge with others.

This is a consulting assignment for 6 months.
