The Elderly Sector in Kil Municipality is responsible for elderly care. The sector is also responsible for the provision of all municipal healthcare, rehabilitation, memory teams, day activities, and support for relatives.
In the Sector for Work and Individuals, individual and family care, labor market and development, disability support, integration, and adult education are organized.

Are you considerate and engaged? We are looking for summer substitutes who want to contribute to a secure and meaningful everyday life for the residents of Kil Municipality. Work full-time or part-time – we will discuss what suits you and the needs of the operations!
We offer you scheduled working hours during weeks 26–33. Those who wish can also express interest in a hourly-paid fixed-term employment for the rest of the year (before and/or after the summer period).

We are looking for summer substitutes for:
- Disability Support (Funktionsstöd): Support for residents of Kil with disabilities, both adults and children
Housing according to LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) ∙ Social psychiatry housing ∙ Housing support within social psychiatry ∙ Day activities ∙ Short-term supervision/short-term stays for children and young people within LSS ∙ Personal assistance
- Elderly Care: Support, service, and care primarily for elderly residents of Kil
In special housing, you work in Kil's urban area under one roof.
In home care, you work with people in their homes around the municipality. You travel by car, bicycle, or on foot.

Tasks:
Together with your colleagues, you ensure that our customers receive support, nursing care, and a good everyday life. You meet people with different needs for support. Your tasks are based on a set plan for each person. This may include, for example:
- Ensuring that our customers get what they need
- Contributing to meaningful activities and community
- Supporting in daily tasks
- Household chores, such as cleaning, laundry, and in some cases cooking
- Personal care
- Healthcare tasks, such as administering medication
- Documentation and record keeping

Don't worry – we ensure that you receive a good introduction so that you feel secure in your professional role! There will also be experienced colleagues you can turn to with questions.
Working Hours:
We provide services to people around the clock, every day of the year. This means you may work during the day, evenings, or nights on both weekdays and weekends.
Workplaces:
Special housing and operations within disability support are located in Kil's urban area. Home care, personal assistance, and housing support take place in the individuals' homes, somewhere within Kil Municipality.
Qualifications:
- You are at least 18 years old
- Experience or interest in healthcare and social care
Flexibility, responsibility, and patience. Interest in collaboration with others. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
If you have healthcare and social care education, we will be especially pleased.
In some of our operations, you need to have a driver's license for a manual transmission, but this is not a requirement for applying for a summer substitute position with us.
Before employment, you must be able to show your license and an extract from the criminal record register.
