Our Operations

Do you want to work in a highly specialized pediatric department where teamwork, quality, and care are at the center?

On the Pediatric Anaesthesia and Surgery Department, we care for children and adolescents aged 0–16 undergoing surgery. Our patients range from premature infants to teenagers. We perform procedures including urology, orthopedics, hand surgery, general surgery, and neonatal surgery.

Every interaction matters here. We work with a family-centered approach and place great emphasis on safety and security – for both the child and their loved ones – throughout the entire care chain, from admission to discharge.

Your Role

As an Operating Room Nurse, you are a key person in the operating theatre and part of the team standing by the children's side throughout the procedure. The work is varied and ranges from complex surgeries to smaller planned interventions – always with the child's best interests and security in focus.

You will work within several surgical areas in a department where the pace can vary; our operating schedule is continuously adapted to acute needs. Here, you also have the opportunity to follow children over time, for example within oncological surgery.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education in perioperative nursing. Experience in pediatric care is meritorious but not a requirement.

• Daytime working hours (Monday–Friday) with on-call duty every 6th–8th weekend
• From September: a working time model with 37 hours/week
