About the position
Motoriklab belongs to the Unit for Highly Specialized Pediatric Medicine and Surgical Services at Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital in Solna.
The position focuses on assessing gait and movement capabilities in children, adolescents, and sometimes adults with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. Currently, three physiotherapists and one technician work at Motoriklab.
In close collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, pediatric neurologists, and orthopedic engineers, the facility offers highly specialized assessments of gait and movement for patients from various parts of healthcare.
The facility works to improve diagnostics, facilitate the choice of treatment methods, evaluate treatment outcomes, and ensure quality in treatment for patients with disabilities.
The position may be combined with outpatient work within our specialized teams.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensure as a physiotherapist or occupational therapist with eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare.
- Experience working as a physiotherapist or occupational therapist with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
Merits:
- Master's degree in physiotherapy or medicine.
- Specialist competence in pediatrics, orthopedics, or neurology.
- Experience working in pediatric care, habilitation, and/or rehabilitation.
- Knowledge in biomechanics and gait and movement analysis.
- Doctoral education or research interest.
