Specialist Nurse in Ophthalmology sought for extended autumn assignment

Are you an orthoptist or a specialist nurse in ophthalmology looking for a longer assignment in a high-competence environment with varied patient flows?

We are now seeking an experienced consultant for a specialized ophthalmology assignment during the autumn of 2026.

About the assignment

You will work within a specialist clinic focused on ophthalmology, alongside an experienced team. The role involves outpatient care and patient-facing tasks within specialized healthcare.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and experienced in working independently in a structured and quality-focused manner.

Period & Scope

• Period: Week 37–47
• Scope: Full-time
• Working hours: Daytime according to schedule

We are looking for someone who

• Is trained as an orthoptist
• Is a licensed specialist nurse in ophthalmology
• Has experience from outpatient work in ophthalmology
• Is confident in independent work and patient assessments
• Has experience with the medical record system Cosmic

Requirements for presentation

The following documents must be available for presentation:

• Updated CV
• Specialist certificate
• Adult CPR certification
• HOSP extract (no older than 6 months)
• IVO extract including any cases (no older than 6 months)
• Copy of a valid SITHS card
• Two current references from the most recent assignment or employment
• Agreement regarding the current assignment period
