About the position

In this recruitment, we are looking for you who have already started and are well into your Specialist Training (ST) in radiology. We are looking for someone who has completed approximately 3–5 years of their ST and has experience on call duties.

The clinic consists of approximately 20 radiologists who work in close daily collaboration. The group possesses broad competence with many different areas of interest, providing good opportunities to develop your own areas of responsibility. Internal training is offered continuously both locally and at the regional level. Additionally, there is close collaboration with the university hospital, where ward rounds are included as part of the ST training based on previous experiences.

Working hours are during the day, with on-call duties on weekday evenings and weekends.

The Radiology Department in Varberg is a very pleasant workplace consisting of CT, MRI, Skeletal Lab, Ultrasound, Intervention/Radiography, and Mammography. We collaborate with many different clinics and therefore hold some rounds. Our work is important in a clinical context as we have close collaboration with clinics that visit us daily to have images demonstrated.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with a great interest in radiology and who are already in an ongoing Specialist Training (ST) in Radiology. You also have experience on call duties. For the position, good teamwork skills are required as you work in a team with physician colleagues, nurses, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries. You communicate clearly and ensure that your message gets through. Furthermore, we see that you are flexible, adapt easily to new circumstances, and have a good ability to make decisions. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
