About the job

In this role, you will work with the Swedish Tax Agency's distribution network. You will contribute to ensuring that our offices function stably, securely, and efficiently through both operational measures and forward-looking planning.

The role is close to operations and practically oriented, where you contribute to ongoing projects and ensure that changes work well in daily operations. The work involves investigating the need for distribution and building networks in connection with office projects, as well as assisting in the ordering of network solutions. The role also includes supporting and coordinating work performed by external suppliers and subcontractors, as well as participating in and driving network-related parts of office projects such as new builds, renovations, relocations, and decommissioning.

The Swedish Tax Agency is undergoing a technical transition to a modern Cisco SDA-based network environment, where you will collaborate closely with other teams within the section. The work involves travel within Sweden as needed.

You will belong to the IT department, the unit for Technical Services at the Swedish Tax Agency, and the section for Office Environments, with a location in Sundbyberg. We are 12 employees in the section.

About you

In this job, you should:

  • have good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish.

You must also have:

  • Several years of relevant and current work experience as a network technician with a focus on work in production environments within physical networks
  • Relevant work experience from working in office projects, such as new construction, renovations, and decommissioning

It is desirable that you have relevant experience with access networks, WAN, and LAN.

It is also desirable with relevant experience in troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of printers.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a probationary period of six months.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security investigation with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our security-classed tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
