About the Job

As a substitute kitchen assistant, you play an important role in ensuring that operations run smoothly when a regular employee is absent. The tasks are the usual ones in school and preschool kitchens: helping with serving, salad preparation, simple cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning. In larger kitchens, you are part of a team, while working alone is common in preschools.

About You

Your knowledge, curiosity, and engagement make a difference. To succeed in the assignment, it is important that you are good at collaborating and can plan your own work. It is also important to be able to see what needs to be done and take initiative.

We are looking for someone who has completed the Restaurant and Food Program or similar education and has experience working in preschool kitchens, school kitchens, or equivalent large-scale kitchens. It is particularly important that you have good knowledge of safe food handling.
