Welcome to apply for the newly renovated care and housing facility Signeshus in central Kungsbacka! We are located near Kungsbacka station with good transport connections, with a travel time of 21 minutes from Gothenburg and 26 minutes from Varberg.

We are now looking for you who are passionate about working with people and want to make a real difference in the daily lives of people with dementia! Are you a trained assistant nurse and do you have a strong commitment to creating safety, quality of life, and meaningful days for our residents on our dementia unit? The role of assistant nurse with us

As an assistant nurse with us, you play a central role in the daily care work. Collaboration with colleagues and home healthcare is crucial to offering person-centered and high-quality care, adapted to each resident's individual needs and conditions. You work from a person-centered approach where meeting, safety, structure, and continuity are in focus.

By establishing and following individual implementation plans and routines, you create a calm, safe, and stimulating environment for our residents, while contributing to a good and sustainable work climate in the work group. You will have the opportunity to perform health and medical interventions after instruction and delegation from a registered nurse, as well as digital documentation.

The position is scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Your profile

As a person, you enjoy working in teams and find it easy to meet and collaborate with other people. You are confident in your professional role and have a professional attitude towards residents, colleagues, and relatives. Furthermore, you like to learn new things and participate actively and engaged in the development of the operations, and are creative in finding new solutions. You have good computer skills and an interest in learning about our digital tools. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

About us

The facility will consist of 97 apartments distributed across ten units, including eight dementia units, one somatic unit, and one unit for dementia under 65 years. At Signeshus, we will collaborate with many different units, including home healthcare, two home care groups, night patrol, service team, digital home care, day care, cooking kitchen, property maintenance, and cleaning.

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent position. The position is full-time or according to agreement. The schedule is set for days, evenings, and every other weekend. Resource shifts occur in the schedule. Within the Department of Care & Social Services, all employees in home care and care and housing facilities are employed at 100% utilization rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce to the desired utilization rate based on the needs of the operations.

Before an offer of employment, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities. Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities, e-service | Police Authority

Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, assistant nurse is a protected professional title.
