About the Job

As a substitute chef, you play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations when a permanent staff member is absent. The tasks are typical for a preschool kitchen, including preparing lunch, serving snacks, and breakfast. In schools, you work together with other chefs or kitchen assistants. You are responsible for handling food safely, conducting self-control checks, washing dishes, and keeping the kitchen and equipment clean according to current guidelines.

About You

Your knowledge, curiosity, and commitment make a difference. To succeed in the assignment, it is important that you are good at organizing your own work and are attentive to routines and requests on-site. We are looking for someone who has completed a restaurant and food program or an equivalent chef education and has at least 6 months of experience working independently as a chef in a preschool kitchen. It is important that you have good knowledge of safe food handling according to HACCP and are accustomed to conducting self-control checks. You also have excellent knowledge of allergens and experience working with common special diets. In addition, you have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
