RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged support staff member for one of our children.

Are you a secure and professional person who sees every child as a competent individual? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

In the role of support staff, you will follow one child and be part of the preschool class and after-school center. There, we create a learning environment where children feel safe, seen, and respected. Your main task is to follow a child during their time at the facility. You will be part of a team.

The workplace is located in Långsele.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children with special needs.
• Experience working with low-affective interaction, where you meet children with calmness, clarity, and respect, even in challenging situations.
• You need to be equipped with a large dose of patience, be quick to learn new things, understand different ways of communicating, and enjoy challenges.
• You like to work independently and have the ability to put yourself in someone else's situation, for example, the guardians.
• You have completed upper secondary education, preferably within child and youth care, or other education that the employer finds suitable. We would prefer that you have education as a support assistant or treatment assistant, which we see as a good complement to the assignment.

Personal qualities

• Ability to handle conflicts professionally, seeing conflicts as learning opportunities and being able to guide children through them in a constructive way.
• A good view of children where you see the child's perspective, listen to the child's voice, and believe in every child's ability to learn and develop.

Personal suitability will be considered.
