Helenelundsskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located in Southern Sollentuna. The school has just over 1,000 students and we are 120 employees. Helenelundsskolan's vision is: We develop the future, with the motto do good, feel good, develop! You land softly with us!

This is a permanent position at 85% with a start date in August 2026.

Responsibilities

As a teacher of Spanish and English at Helenelundsskolan, you teach students in the higher grades in both subjects. You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in close collaboration with the subject team and are part of the working group for grade 7.

You work closely with the language teachers and sit together with the subject team, which creates good conditions for joint planning, collegial learning, and the development of teaching. The role includes mentorship shared with a colleague. You participate in both working group meetings and subject team meetings and are an active part of the school's development work.

The students at the school have diverse backgrounds and prerequisites, and you work to create accessible, inclusive, and language-developing teaching where all students are given the opportunity to succeed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an independent and engaged teacher who takes initiative and drives your work forward. You have clear and natural leadership in the classroom and create safety, structure, and study peace. Your teaching is well-planned based on the class or group's needs, and you are skilled at creating motivation and interest among students.

You are relationship-building and build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You work in a structured and careful manner in your planning and are well familiar with the school's governing documents. You put students' knowledge development and safety at the center and are therefore both responsive and unpretentious.

You are goal- and result-oriented and have a solution-oriented ability that helps you meet students with different needs and prerequisites in a constructive way. As a person, you are responsible and thrive in a working group where teaching is developed together and where collaboration is one of the school's greatest strengths.

Requirements

• Teacher certification with qualifications in English and Spanish for lower secondary school
• Experience of teaching in lower secondary school in Spanish and English

Merits

• Experience working with students with NPD diagnoses in class
• Experience teaching with digital tools
