Do you want to drive the data-driven development at the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) and translate complex business needs into clear and usable data requirements? As a Requirements Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate data deliveries and well-functioning BI solutions in an organization where quality, structure, and analysis are central. Together, we get Sweden to work. Do you want to join us?

The Section's Mission

The transformation of Arbetsförmedlingen is in an intense phase, with a strong drive to become more data-driven in our decision-making, support the business operations, and handle our data and information in a modern and quality-assured manner.

The Section for Data Access Refinement currently consists of approximately 24 employees. We are the central storage location for historical and quality-assured data from our business systems, utilizing a Data Warehouse (Oracle with a Data Vault model). By providing our consumers with data, we enable the agency to generate necessary statistics for the public, the Ministry of Employment, journalists, as well as for internal case processing and follow-up, among other things. We support the development of the information that drives the analysis of the Swedish labor market.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a driven Requirements Analyst who wants to play a key role in ensuring that our data deliveries, BI solutions, and analyses are carried out in a structured and simple way. A large part of the role involves data analysis, where you map and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements and convert these into clear documentation for developers and decision-makers.

You will be a crucial link between our business operations and the teams responsible for developing our analysis solutions, where you gather business needs and create data analyses based on them. You will work both independently and with colleagues from various parts of the organization. Therefore, we believe you are communicative, analytical, and structured, with the ability to build relationships between various business stakeholders and developers. You have good knowledge of databases and data models and thrive when handling large amounts of data.

You will join a team of other Requirements Analysts who work on compiling, interpreting, translating, and documenting the business requirements for data applications to convert them into effective documentation that guides our daily development within BI. You will work with stakeholders who want to monitor and understand their operations using clear data visualizations, ranging from advanced forecasting and recommendation models that provide insights into future events and how we should best act. You ask the right questions to the right people and are the key to creating the right results.

What We Offer

This is a permanent full-time position that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The workplace is located in Solna.

We offer you the opportunity to work in a workplace where we value the balance between work and private life. You will have access to a generous vacation agreement, flexible working hours, and the possibility to work remotely up to 49 percent annually. Our benefits also include health care during working hours and a favorable health allowance.

As an employee at Arbetsförmedlingen, you also have access to competence development and career opportunities within the agency. Through our work, we contribute to an inclusive and sustainable society, where you get the opportunity to make a real difference for individuals and for society as a whole.
