• You have around 9+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management.
• You’re experienced in leading complex negotiations and handling large spend areas.
• You’re confident working with suppliers and building long-term partnerships.
• You use insights from the market to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• You collaborate naturally and lead in line with IKEA values.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Category Leader at IKEA, you’ll help shape our supplier base and secure the best possible value for the business. Your days will be a mix of strategy, collaboration, and hands-on sourcing work:

• Leading sourcing activities and negotiations for complex categories and large spend areas.
• Developing and implementing category and sub-category plans.
• Building and developing a strong, strategic, and preferred supplier base.
• Monitoring supplier markets to identify new opportunities and innovations.
• Strengthening sourcing practices and supporting others in applying them.
• Ensuring compliance with IKEA standards, sustainability requirements, and ways of working.
