Welcome to our General Dental Care and the Kumla/Laxå Unit. We are looking for you who, together with our other employees, want to drive the unit's development into the future.

Our unit consists of the clinics in Kumla and Laxå. The operations in Kumla moved to new premises in May 2026 and has 14 treatment rooms. The clinic in Laxå has 5 treatment rooms and was completely renovated a few years ago.

We have driven, responsible, and development-oriented staff. We try out new ways of working to increase accessibility for our patients and create a stimulating work environment for our employees. What is important to us at the unit is that we keep the patients in focus, have respect for each other, wish each other the best, have a positive spirit, show engagement, challenge old ways of working, and contribute to an open climate in the workplace. We have experienced dentists who mentor new colleagues.

If you work at clinics outside Örebro city, you will receive a salary supplement. In your spare time, you can use our wellness allowance.

As a dentist, you have the main responsibility for our patients. You examine, diagnose, plan therapy, and perform treatments on both children and adults. In your role as a dentist, you are a team leader who ensures that teamwork functions in the best possible way and actively works with our concept for Healthy Dental Care. Since our clinics collaborate in different units, you may get the opportunity to work at different workplaces.

You are/are becoming a licensed dentist with documented knowledge in radiology. Experience in pediatric and adult dental care is meritorious. You master the Swedish language and express yourself well in speech and writing. You have documented knowledge in Swedish corresponding to at least C1 level according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We work with digital record keeping in Frenda. We place great importance on personal qualities such as good collaboration and initiative skills. As a person, you are flexible and accustomed to handling many different responsibilities.

Public Dental Care Region Örebro County works actively with preventive dental care and Healthy Dental Care, all to ensure that our county residents get the best possible oral health. We offer dental care at 21 general dental clinics and 8 specialist dental clinics. We have a dental technology laboratory, a public health unit, and an education and research unit closely linked to Örebro University. In total, approximately 600 employees work within Public Dental Care Region Örebro County.
