Work for the original.

Welcome to Apoteket, number one since 1971. With visions for the future and quality in every detail, we create the conditions for a life in health. With us, you will develop in a culture where your voice is always heard. And everything we have left over, we give back to society. That is how we make a real difference.

About the National Unit

At the National Unit in Uppsala, we bring together specialist competence in areas such as manufacturing, clinical trials, and customer service. Here, we work together to ensure high quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance throughout our operations.

We are a developing operation where routines, processes, and ways of working are constantly improved – and where you as an employee have great opportunities to influence.

Your Role

As the Responsible Person for Pharmaceutical Products (LMA), you work with care, quality, and patient safety in focus. In your role, you ensure that operations meet current requirements and contribute to us being a reliable partner in pharmaceutical manufacturing and pharmaceutical services.

You are responsible for three units under the same license: Manufacturing, Clinical Trials, and Customer Service, and you are located within Manufacturing, where you also participate in daily work.

In the role, you work close to the operations and play an important part in developing, implementing, and following up on routines and processes. You coach colleagues in everyday life and contribute to a learning and quality-driven culture.

You are part of a network of LMA within Apoteket and collaborate with Responsible Persons within the Dosage & Care business area. You report to the Operations Manager at Manufacturing.

The position is a fixed-term contract of approximately 1.5 years.

What you will do with us:
  • Create and implement routines, processes, and structures for the operations

  • Drive and develop continuous improvement work

  • Investigate deviations and dispatch errors

  • Conduct self-inspections

  • Support risk and incident analysis

  • Guide colleagues in pharmaceutical assessments and quality issues

  • Work partially operationally within manufacturing to ensure a close connection to operations

Who are we looking for?

For this position, you must be a licensed pharmacist or registered dispensing pharmacist. You have at least two years of experience from pharmacy operations as well as experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You have experience working as a Responsible Person for Pharmaceutical Products and/or with deviation management, including root cause analysis and planning and follow-up of actions.

  • You have a particular interest in quality, patient safety, and improvement work

  • You are analytical and have the ability to identify risks, understand causes, and find solutions

  • You enjoy collaborating and building trusting relationships in your work

  • You are structured, organized, and have the ability to prioritize to achieve set goals

  • You actively share your knowledge and contribute to the team's development

  • We believe you thrive in a role where you can combine operational work with the development of processes and ways of working

It is an advantage if you have experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and work with self-control programs, self-inspections, or instructions.

We offer...
