Do you want to help optimize tomorrow's material flows in an international environment? We are now looking for an analytical and solution-oriented Material Planning Specialist to join our planning team in Mariestad.

Your role

As a Material Planning Specialist, you are responsible for planning, optimizing, and coordinating material flows within your region. You work closely with several functions within the organization and play a central role in ensuring that the right materials are in the right place – at the right time.

You are responsible for ensuring correct master data, as well as developing, monitoring, and adjusting material plans based on current needs and potential material constraints. The role also involves analyzing and monitoring long-term inventory development and turnover rates to optimize inventory levels and resource utilization. Furthermore, you drive and improve automated material requisition processes while actively contributing to the development and efficiency of planning processes within the business.

We are looking for someone who has

• A university/college degree in a relevant field or experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Good system proficiency, preferably with experience of SAP.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a probationary period. The employment is covered by the collective agreement General Terms of Employment in the Pulp and Paper Industry.
