Toast to the sweep of history in Gamla Stan! Two hundred years ago, Hindrich Nyward, the elder of the wine-drinking guild, lived here. The building we occupy was once the site of one of Stockholm's last "vintappar" (wine-drinking dens) until the end of the 19th century. At Österlånggatan 17, the atmosphere is embedded in the classic walls, and the tradition as the hub of the cobblestone quarter lives on.

Here, Stockholm locals and tourists mix, where we provide everyone with the same premium service, bubbly atmosphere, and food and drink for all tastes. Our menu influences come from all over the world, but we are inspired by and consider the local ingredients we have available on our doorstep.

About the position

The position offered is a seasonal employment as a Kitchen Assistant. We offer different types of employment degrees, but at least 50%. The majority of working hours are scheduled on weekdays and during daytime. You will join an experienced kitchen team, where several have worked with us for a long period. It is important to us that you enjoy your job with fair conditions. If you don't have fun and don't feel comfortable at work, you won't do a good job – that is how we think. We want our staff to grow and develop with us!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving goods & controlling deliveries
• Restocking storage, cold rooms & freezers
• Assisting chefs with easier cooking and food preparation
• Dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen areas
• Assisting with serving tasks
• Sorting and disposing of waste

Your work will require:

• The ability to follow hygiene and safety regulations
• The ability to receive written and oral information and execute it
• Good teamwork skills with kitchen staff
• Physical fitness, as you will be lifting and carrying goods.
