Länssjukvård somatik coordinates the regional healthcare for specialized somatic care in Region Västernorrland. The somatic area consists of eleven regional healthcare units. These units operate at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, as well as several clinics located in various towns across the county. The area employs approximately 2,400 staff members.

We are now looking for an ST (Specialist Training) Doctor for the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) department in Sundsvall. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of July 1, 2026, or as agreed.

After an introduction period, you will participate in the on-call line, which covers the entire Region Västernorrland. This involves working evenings, nights, and weekends. You will work both with physician colleagues within the specialty and with other professions and specialties. The role also includes administrative tasks. To meet the ST goals for ENT diseases, parts of the position will be located at a university hospital, primarily Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå. Some training moments will also be located in Örnsköldsvik and Sollefteå to provide opportunities for basic surgical volume training and participation in ear surgeries. The position includes courses and time off for achieving ST training goals, as well as requirements for improvement and research work. The main responsibilities are:

• Medical investigation
• Assessment
• Treatment of patients in both outpatient and inpatient care.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed physician
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have good knowledge of English in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you:

• Have work experience within Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
• Have local knowledge and have previously worked at the clinic
