On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an experienced Contract Manager for a long-term consultancy assignment with a leading green steel company in Boden. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an international project environment and be a key figure in the implementation of one of Sweden's largest industrial projects.

About the Assignment

As a Contract Manager, you will join the Contract Management team and work closely with project managers, construction managers, and other central stakeholders. The role reports to the Lead Contract Manager / Head of Contracts and works in close collaboration with the Site Construction Manager and Area Manager.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for contract management and administration towards contractors on the construction site
• Work as an integrated part of a cross-functional project team
• Identify, analyze, and manage commercial and contractual risks
• Ensure compliance with the company's requirements, processes, and standards
• Support the project and contract teams in developing contract strategies
• Handle and follow up on change requests, change orders, and requirement management
• Participate in the review and analysis of contracts prior to negotiations
• Coordinate and ensure uniform handling of contract matters together with other Contract Managers
• Provide support in contractual matters both internally and externally
• Collaborate with functions such as Legal, Engineering, Finance, and Technical
• Identify and follow up on the project's risks, opportunities, and action plans
• Ensure work is carried out according to current policies, routines, and systems

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• At least 10 years of experience as a Contract Manager in large construction or industrial projects
• An academic degree in law, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in contract management and commercial matters
• Strong ability to analyze risks and drive complex contract issues
• Ability to work structured in a dynamic project environment
• Very good communication skills in both speech and writing

Language Requirements

• Swedish – very good knowledge in speech and writing (required)
• English – good knowledge in speech and writing
