Lumire, Luleå Miljöresurs AB, is a municipal company responsible for water and wastewater, waste management, recycling, and reuse. About the role
Luleå is facing extensive societal development with major expansion plans in both industry and residential construction. This brings many exciting and complex challenges within the water and wastewater (VA) sector.

As a Stormwater VA Engineer, you work on stormwater issues from early investigation stages to completed facilities. In the early phases, you are responsible for investigating, analyzing, and proposing suitable technical solutions, working together with the municipality, developers, and property owners. As projects move into design and construction phases, you participate as the technical lead and provide support to project managers.

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Work on stormwater issues in the early stages of planning and construction processes

• Conduct stormwater investigations including the design of stormwater facilities

• Act as project and technical lead in stormwater projects

• Provide technical support within the organization regarding stormwater issues

• Participate in the development of methods, guidelines, and solutions within stormwater management

• Collaborate with property owners, the municipality, and other stakeholders

• Be involved in communication and knowledge-raising initiatives regarding stormwater

Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a few years of experience or are more senior within the stormwater sector and want to drive development forward.

We see that you have:

• a technical higher education or university degree relevant to the position, or other education/experience considered equivalent

• experience from the VA sector or related operations

• experience with stormwater issues

• good understanding of planning processes and/or project work

It is meritorious if you have experience with:

• Stormwater investigations

• Flood analysis

• Stormwater modeling

• Planning processes

As a person, you are driven, structured, and thrive in a role where you take responsibility and collaborate with others. You contribute actively to dialogues and see the big picture in complex issues.

You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
A category B driver's license is required for the position.

The position is a permanent employment located in Luleå, starting as agreed. Probation period may apply.
