Project Description

A major player in the financial sector is seeking a driven project management consultant for a strategic initiative within Backup & Recovery to drive a large-scale implementation in the IT and cybersecurity field.

The initiative is high-priority and aims to strengthen digital operational resilience by enhancing the organization's ability to restore critical operations after cyberattacks and meet regulatory requirements related to digital operational resilience.

A solution to protect critical functions through a cyber vault for distributed platforms (Linux and Windows, physical and virtual environments) has been procured and is now to be implemented within the organization. The implementation involves connecting business-critical IT systems to the cyber vault.

The work includes both hardware and software and is preceded by design, architecture, and decision forums before the solution can be put into production and handed over to operations.

The assignment entails responsibility for planning and coordination together with the selected supplier, IT security functions, as well as technical infrastructure and communications groups. Support is available from architects and technical specialists within Backup & Recovery, as well as from the supplier's project management and system experts.

The project is carried out in several phases:

• Initial implementation and verification of the solution
• Gradual connection of critical systems and recovery testing
• Handover to the operations organization

The goal is for implementation and verification to be completed during 2027, followed by the gradual onboarding of critical systems and establishment in operations.

Compulsory Requirements

• Previous experience with the implementation of technical solutions
• Experience in planning, monitoring, and steering large projects or epics
• Ability to analyze requirements, dependencies, and risks
• Good collaboration and leadership skills
• Communicative and relationship-building
• Structured and organized
