RESPONSIBILITIES

Here, you will become part of an engaged work group of approximately 25 colleagues, consisting of nurses, district nurses, dementia nurses, Silvia sisters, and nursing assistants. The team is organized across three locations within the municipality and is characterized by a strong team spirit, short decision-making paths, and a culture where new ideas are welcome.

We are looking for you who want to contribute to safe, secure, and equal care for all.

In this role, you work with planning, implementing, and following up on both medical and psychosocial interventions for individuals with mental health issues. You support the individual's development and coordinate care interventions in close collaboration with relatives and interdisciplinary teams.

The work takes place in close cooperation with housing support within social psychiatry, home healthcare, and as needed, home care services.

Your responsibilities include:

• Medical nursing care, such as administering medication, following up on treatment effects, performing blood sampling, and medical-technical measures.
• Psychosocial support through conversations, supervision, and support for both individuals with mental health issues and their relatives.
• Individualized care where you analyze needs from a psychiatric perspective, formulate goals, and support the individual in managing their life situation.
• Strengthening the individual's own resources and promoting recovery and increased quality of life.
• Coordination of care interventions in close collaboration with relatives and other actors.
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams with, for example, doctors, psychologists, and social workers.
• Cooperation with social services, housing support, home healthcare, and as needed, home care and other authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered nurse, preferably with further education in psychiatry or with the desire to further educate yourself as a specialist nurse in the field.
• Have a good attitude and a high degree of professionalism in your professional role, with the ability to both collaborate in a team and work independently.
• Have good computer skills and preferably experience with the business system Lifecare.
• Have a strong commitment where personal suitability is given great importance.
• Hold a Category B driver's license and have access to a personal car when needed.
