The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer interventions grounded in several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve giving older adults a secure and meaningful daily life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse with us, you will have an important role in providing support, security, and quality of life to people in various life situations. We are looking for you who want to make a difference in people's daily lives while being part of a professional and caring operation.

As an assistant nurse, you work with providing care and social support to people in need. You work based on individual implementation plans and are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on interventions that promote the user's independence, security, and well-being.

The job duties include, among other things:

• Personal care and support in daily life
• Health and medical tasks after delegation
• Documentation according to current guidelines
• Support to relatives and collaboration with colleagues and other professions

The work can take place in various types of operations, both in ordinary housing, special housing for the elderly, and short-term housing for the elderly. The work is carried out during the day, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

Qualifications

As an assistant nurse, you need to have a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility, and respectful treatment. You enjoy collaborating but are also confident in working independently. Your commitment and sensitivity to the needs of others are crucial for success in the role.

We also look for you to have:

• A certified assistant nurse education with proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Ability to document according to current routines
• Experience in elderly care is an advantage
• A driver's license (Category B) or cycling proficiency may be required depending on the operation.
