The following qualifications are meritorious:

  • good experience with ISM work, including the management, development, and follow-up of safety management systems
  • education in or experience with internal auditing/ISM auditing
  • several years of experience working with systematic maritime safety work
  • good experience with occupational health and safety work, preferably in an operational and regulated environment within shipping or other safety-critical operations
  • current experience with digitalization, implementation, or management of operational systems within HSEQ/ISM
  • experience with regulations from vessels in domestic shipping or from operations with multiple vessel types
  • experience with HSEQ work related to new vessel construction
