Job Description and Responsibilities

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer for a consultancy assignment within an international and technically advanced organization. The role focuses on ensuring that environmental requirements and legislation are integrated into all phases of product development.

You will work closely with an existing environmental compliance function and contribute both operationally and developmentally. The assignment involves many contact points and requires you to translate complex legislation into practical and business-oriented solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure environmental requirements are integrated into product development
• Interpret, implement, and monitor environmental legislation
• Support internal functions with compliance matters
• Drive the implementation of regulations in a project format
• Develop and improve processes related to environment and sustainability
• Work with data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Contribute to areas such as the circular economy and sustainability reporting

The assignment is approximately 50% with the possibility of hybrid work.

Your Profile

You are an independent and driven person who takes responsibility and gets things done. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to communicate technical requirements clearly to different audiences. You thrive in a role with many contact points and collaborate effectively in an international environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability, or equivalent
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in environmental and sustainability work
• Experience with environmental legislation and compliance work, including implementation and monitoring of legal requirements
• Experience in data analysis and reporting within the environmental field
