To our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now looking for a Program Manager for Cost Reduction for a project at their site in Finspång.

This assignment offers you the opportunity to work in an international and forward-looking environment with many development possibilities.

This is initially a consulting assignment of 6–12 months through Unik Resurs, with very good opportunities for extension.

We conduct ongoing selection, which means the assignment may be filled earlier than the final application date.

Responsibilities and Duties

Business Excellence in Service at Siemens Energy is looking for a Program Manager for Cost Reduction.

As Program Manager for Cost Reduction, you will work in close collaboration with the Head of BE and the management team to plan, steer, and follow up on the cost reduction program. You will support project managers and leaders in developing business cases for projects, prepare status updates, and present them to the local management team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Set goals for the business regarding cost reduction and follow up with the management team and other stakeholders.
• Identify new cost savings in collaboration with the service functions.
• Assist in calculating savings and developing business cases for improvements and projects.
• Ensure that savings are updated in the One PUMA Web system, both by updating them yourself and by ensuring that other parts of the business update the system.
• Support portfolio management of our business development projects.

Your Profile

• University degree, preferably in Industrial Economics or equivalent.
• Experience working with business intelligence, e.g., Power BI, is an advantage.
• Understanding of processes in similar industries is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of economic terms and how to develop a business case.
• Very good ability to prepare presentations and present in PowerPoint in both Swedish and English.
• Very good ability to analyze and compile information in Excel.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in Swedish and English.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
