The Joint Management Administration consists of the areas of Democracy & Service, Economy & Procurement, Working Life & Digital Technology, Strategic Urban Planning, Fire and Rescue Service & Safety, and the Support Staff.
The administration is tasked with leading, supporting, and coordinating the entire municipal organization on behalf of the Municipal Executive Board. This is done by focusing on the customer's needs and maintaining a holistic view and common working methods. We are a learning organization that promotes innovation and learning from both the external environment and each other.
The Fire and Rescue Service and Safety area is characterized by responsibility, collaboration, and strong civic engagement. Here, we work to create security for residents and businesses through preventive work, supervision, education, and interventions in accidents and crises.
The work is varied and can involve everything from operational rescue missions to planning, risk analyses, and information campaigns. With professionalism, respect, and care, we meet people in both everyday life and acute situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
At Fire and Rescue Service Motala-Vadstena, as a temporary employee, you will work with conducting training in fire protection and other areas.
The employment may include conducting supervision assignments according to the Act on Protection against Accidents, and if you have other competence or experience that falls within the organization's needs, other tasks may also become relevant.
It may also involve participating in the fire and rescue service's communication with citizens through events, as well as posts on our website and social media. Otherwise, your role involves monitoring the external environment and collaborating with other actors and fire and rescue services in Sweden.
QUALIFICATIONS
Formal Competencies:
- We are looking for you who have completed training in Protection against Accidents (SMO), GRIB, Rescue Operations, or alternatively other training or experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- You have experience in educational activities.
- You have good digital skills and find it easy to get into new technology.
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
- A B-category driver's license is a requirement.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Relevant experience within supervision or fire and rescue service is meritorious, for example: Supervision A, Good legal understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation in the area, C-category driver's license.
Personal Competencies:
- You organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you have started. You set timeframes and meet deadlines.
- You have good pedagogical competence and can adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.
- You are a good communicator, both orally and in writing. You are also meticulous and have good judgment.
- For us, it is important that you are service-oriented and accommodating in your interactions. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months.
Working hours: Office hours with flexible agreement
