About the role
We offer a flexible part-time position at ICA grocery stores. With us, you have the opportunity to work during the day, in the evenings, or on weekends. You enter your availability into our scheduling system and are then contacted regarding work shifts via our app. In other words, this is a perfect side job alongside your studies or another job!

You will work in various ICA stores in the Gothenburg area. As a delicatessen assistant, your main task is to sell manual fresh goods in ICA's delicatessen counter. You will serve customers based on their needs, guiding them with advice and ideas regarding their product choices. You will work with charcuterie, cheese, fish, and meat. You should feel confident handling slicing machines, packaging products, and managing general operations on the department.

About you
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with food and has experience working in a manual delicatessen counter in a retail environment. You have worked with various products in the delicatessen such as charcuterie, fish, cheese, and meat. You have good product knowledge and utilize this in your work by giving customers advice and tips. You should be service-oriented and enjoy interacting with customers. You should also be able to handle stress and thrive in fast-paced, eventful workdays.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment, on an as-needed basis.

Salary: According to the Handshake collective agreement with applicable shift allowances.
