The Role of Nursing Assistant with Us

Working as a nursing assistant in home care involves a large degree of independence and personal responsibility, while working closely with colleagues – always with the care recipient's best interests in focus. You meet people with varying needs and work in their home environment, where you create security and continuity.

The role includes practical tasks such as personal care, meal support, and motivating to various activities. The work is varied and requires that you thrive with a flexible pace. As a nursing assistant, you also have the opportunity to perform health care tasks after instruction and delegation from a nurse. Documentation is done digitally according to current guidelines.

You will drive a car in the service and you will work from a schedule that will be set for every weekend.

You love working with people, you are a joy-bringer who gives energy to your care recipients and colleagues. You contribute to the experience of security by taking responsibility for the tasks and a reliable and professional attitude. As a person, you thrive working independently and can adapt to changed circumstances and see the possibilities in everyday life. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• are a trained or studying nursing assistant
• express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent employment where the weekend assignment is time-limited for six months with a chance of extension. The degree of employment is 71 or 85 percent with a schedule set for Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday only, plus time for workplace meetings (APT).

Before an offer of employment, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is "Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities". Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities, e-service | The Swedish Police Authority.

Background checks may be conducted before employment.

From July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected job title.
