Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for an engaged and confident nurse for Fleminggatan Elderly Care and Housing Facility. Here, you will become part of a knowledgeable and supportive team where we together create a safe, dignified, and meaningful everyday life for our elderly residents. Here you will have the opportunity to utilize your full competence while developing in your professional role.

You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and other professions. Through your competence, you contribute to creating security for both patients and staff, while also helping to develop the operations.

The position is primarily during daytime hours, with some evening and weekend duties within our consultancy operations in elderly care and housing, home healthcare, as well as LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing medical assessments and making independent decisions.
• Planning, implementing, and following up on nursing interventions.
• Performing blood sampling, infusions, wound dressings, and palliative care.
• Collaborating with other professions.
• Mentoring and delegating tasks to nursing staff.

Interviews may be conducted continuously during the application period.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who is a confident and engaged nurse with a genuine interest in working with elderly people. You take responsibility, are solution-focused, and thrive in a role that combines independent work with teamwork.

• Licensed Nurse (RN).
• At least two years of experience as a nurse.
• Experience in geriatrics.
• Valid driver's license (Category B) and driving experience.
• Good ability to make independent medical assessments.

Experience with Treserva or similar systems, as well as further education within healthcare, is considered an advantage.
