Cook Position in Stockholm

We are looking for several cooks to work in preschools, primary and secondary schools, as well as in restaurants, at banquets, conferences, and other exciting events. In short, as a cook with us, you will have the opportunity to work at many different workplaces in both the public and private sectors in the Stockholm region – through a single employer, Miljonbemanning!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing meals (including special diets, allergy-friendly meals, and texture-modified meals) as well as other daily kitchen operations.
• Serving breakfast, preparing lunch, serving snacks, serving dinner, and banquet service according to the menu.
• Handling and implementation according to the Food Act and HACCP.
• Receiving and unpacking goods, as well as ordering supplies when needed.
• Preparing the dining area for service and cleaning up afterwards; serving food if necessary.
• Dishwashing and cleaning.
• Sorting cardboard and waste.
• Ensuring the kitchen is clean, tidy, and ready at the end of the workday.

Who are you?

• You are over 18 years old.
• You have education in hospitality and restaurant management with a focus on cooking or equivalent culinary training.
• You have experience working in restaurants.
• You have the ability to plan and structure work efficiently.
• You take responsibility for maintaining high service and quality standards through your passion.
• You see your importance in the satisfaction of students and guests.
• You are positive, stress-resistant, and good at collaborating and communicating.
• You can take initiative and are flexible in your professional role.
• You speak and write Swedish.

Other Information

This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of extension for those who are ambitious. Your schedule will be flexible with shifts ranging from 07:00 to 23:00, Monday to Sunday. However, your shifts will not exceed 8 hours.
