We are looking for a Laboratory Engineer for a technology-driven company focused on product development and quality assurance.

About the role

In this role, you will hold a central position in the development work, responsible for planning, executing, and following up on testing of both new and existing products. You will become a key person in the team and a go-to contact for testing, performance, and method development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute, and evaluate product tests in development and maintenance projects
• Ensure products meet requirements according to standards, laws, and certifications
• Document and compile test results and be responsible for test reporting
• Develop and improve testing methods and testing equipment
• Stay updated on relevant standards and regulations
• Participate in the procurement of testing equipment
• Conduct field measurements when necessary
• Support internal and external parties regarding testing and product performance
• Contribute to improvement work and ensure that measuring equipment is correctly calibrated

This is a consultancy assignment via Consensus that may eventually lead to employment with the client. You will work on-site at the client's location, with some possibility of remote work.

About you

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• A Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field
• At least a few years of experience in testing, laboratory operations, or product development
• A good understanding of standards, regulations, and quality requirements
• A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
• Thrives with both independent responsibility and teamwork
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
