The Medicines Centre is Region Västerbotten's expert body on pharmaceutical matters, working for evidence-based, patient-safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical use and supply within the region. Employees at the Medicines Centre are located in Umeå at Norrlands University Hospital (NUS), in Skellefteå at Skellefteå Hospital, in Lycksele at Lycksele Hospital, and at the Rural Medicine Centre in Storuman.

At the Medicines Centre, you will be part of an engaged team consisting of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, logistics technicians, and administrative staff.

Job Description

We need to strengthen our team working on the region's pharmaceutical supply. You will, among other things, work with ordering and unpacking of medicines, support, structured pharmaceutical inventory and assortment work, and promote good pharmaceutical economics. Furthermore, you will work with fluid management, quality review, quality work, and other tasks within pharmaceutical supply such as handling of leftovers and shortages of medicines.

As a pharmacist or nurse with us, you contribute with knowledge and commitment, enabling initiatives that impact many. Your closest colleagues, with whom you share tasks, are pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses, and logistics technicians.

Digital meetings and contacts, as well as travel within the region, occur.

Qualifications

You are a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician, and/or a licensed nurse. It is meritorious if you have a few years of professional experience. Experience in working close to patient care is meritorious. Fluent Swedish, at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale, is a requirement.
