Our Operations

The Postoperative Ward within the Anesthesia Section has 15 beds and receives patients around the clock. Patients primarily come from surgical and orthopedic operations. During on-call hours, we also receive patients from other surgical clinics, and we collaborate closely with the Central Intensive Care Unit (CIVA). Postoperative care is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our patients.

Your Role

This is your chance to challenge yourself at a very pleasant workplace. The work is varied, involving constant interaction with new patients with different needs for postoperative monitoring. You will learn everything from basic postoperative monitoring to caring for patients requiring intermediate postoperative care and intensive care. Here, you will continuously learn new things and develop your professional skills.

You will become part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other, while also working independently. There is also an opportunity to observe (shadow) on the ward if you wish.

Your Qualifications

• You are a licensed nurse with professional experience.

What We Offer

We offer a permanent position (100%) with a start date to be agreed upon. Additionally, you are offered:

• A minimum of four weeks of introduction, along with mentorship during the first few months.
• Continuous training, such as postoperative education.
• A university course in Postoperative and Surgical Intermediate Care (7.5 credits).
