Job Responsibilities

You can work within several of our operations:

• Home Care Services
• Elderly Housing
• Personal Assistance
• Support Housing (LSS) and Day Activities

Examples of tasks:

• Support in personal care and daily chores
• Help with meals, cleaning, and shopping
• Social support and activities
• Documentation and collaboration with colleagues
• The work is varied and can be performed both independently and in teams.

Practical Information About the Role

• As an hourly substitute, you work as needed and enter your availability yourself in TimeCarePool
• As a monthly substitute, you receive a schedule and a monthly employment contract
• Working hours: day, evening, night, and weekends
• You should be able to work approximately three shifts/week and some weekends per month
• Introduction and training are included, including delegation of tasks if needed

Qualifications

The most important thing is your attitude and commitment! We are looking for you who:

• Are positive, responsible, and enjoy working with people
• Are flexible and can adapt to different situations
• Can work independently and take initiative
• Are at least 18 years old
• Can speak and write Swedish
• Have basic digital skills
• Have access to BankID

Merits:

• Experience in healthcare and social care
• Category B driver's license (required for home care and some operations)
• Additional language skills

Tjörn Municipality requests a certificate from the Swedish National Police Board (extract from the criminal record) in connection with this recruitment. Visit the police website to request an extract from the criminal record. This can be done digitally with an e-ID or by filling out a form. Note that processing time can be up to two weeks, so order the extract well in advance.
